  1. Displays the vertical mouse coordinate corresponding to the amplitude in the waveform.  Dashes appear when the mouse is not over a waveform.

  3. Displays the current mouse horizontal coordinate.  Dashes show when you are not over an active sound editing window.

  7. Displays the leftmost point of the current selection.

  9. Displays the size of the current selection.

  11. Displays the rightmost coordinate of the current selection.  Dashes indicates that nothing is selected.

  15. To change the volume, drag the slider left for louder and right for softer.

  17. This area shows how much recording time is available.

  19. This area shows the last recording time.

  21. This area shows how much disk space is being used during recording.

  59. Displays a dialog box where you can set lines vs dots waveform drawing, and whether the rulers and track and label bars are showing.

  61. Both waveforms and spectrums are currently being drawn in each track.  To change, select Waveform or Spectrum.

  63. Plots waveforms and spectrums in every track.  Not available now because no sound editing window is currently active.

  65. Draws a waveform in the top half of each track and plots a graph of time vs frequencies in the bottom half.

  71. Plots a 2D or 3D graph of the sound showing time versus the frequencies that make up the sound in each track.
